Rohini Herur began her Bharatha Natyam journey at age 8 under the tutelage of Guru. Smt.Vandya Srinath, Artistic Director of Bhramara School of Bharathanatyam in Bengaluru,India. In 1998, Rohini did her 'Ranga Pravesha' (Arangetram) to much acclaim. The same year she completed the Vidwath Examination held by the Government of Karnataka giving her the teaching credentials.

Rohini, a graceful dancer, has a strong sense of rhythm and excels particularly in the 'Abhinaya' (facial expression) aspect of Bharatha Natyam. After arriving in the USA in 2000, Rohini established herself as an accomplished artiste performing at various venues including the Museum of Man, the Mingei Museum and the IFAASD Music & Dance Festival in San Diego.

Rohini is pursuing the art with passion and dedication.
